The other night I awoke with a dream that just flashed through my feeble brain.The bad part of it was I cant remember why it started but only that it had a few key people in my life showing up at various times while I was building the motor for my little Chevy setting out back, you see I was trying an old trick with this block that was taught to me back in the 60's. I had just finished washing it with dishwashing detergent and scrubbing every corner and crack to clean it for painting inside where it will never be seen. The oil holes had been cleaned and cleared of burrs. One person was looking over my shoulder claiming that wont help all the while the hat he was wearing kept dropping bits of debri into the motor.He finally left and went back to working on some blue and grey car next door singing songs that sounded like Elvis tunes.Then after I started painting it in the cam galley this other dude started fussing saying the oil will run back into the crank case to fast. Well I thought that was the reason for it,but after I rolled it over to do the crank area this dude with a cigar dropped ashes into my motor. Dog gone it all where are you people coming from I asked? That set it off then, I have some guy saying in Michigan its illegal to do that.Then this other guy picks my cam up and says you used this in Middle Ga to out run me didnt you, It was my roller cam I used back in the middle 60's. At that point he dropped it and it broke into, this also happened in the 60's.Now I have this bunch telling me how to build my motor and then when its up on the chainfall to be put in the car something real strange happens.A noise in my back yard wakes me up and I laid there a second before getting up and there it was,my motion lights in the back yard are on and hood is off the car, nothing is amiss but the hood is off the car. My dog isnt even awake so it wasnt a noise I guess but was it?Am I being prepped again by my peers who are no longer on earth or is there a real guidance in this world to suggest the way to go, not show you but suggest it.Maybe if I sleep on it tonight I may get this wonderful dream completed and keep the hood on the car this time,the hood pins are in .I will update you Saturday if this continues or ends or fizzles here and now but who took the hood off??
