In the top right corner of the picture, there is a canopy....There was never a canopy at Columbia Speedway, so I vote that the picture was not made at Columbia Speedway.

I do know that Richard won his very first race at Columbia in a ragtop. But I dont beleive this is Columbia either. He ran #42 in 1958 in his first race at Columbia.This is either at Daytona or Martinsville and from what I can tell most likely Daytona.
