Don, it looks like from the billboards it could be California. San Jose Curtain and Blanket Laundry and Alameda Radiator Repair. Could be around 1950. You'd have to be nuts to do that!Pete

1948 was the year and yes it was west coast sanjose ca. was the place track was not namedyou done good pete on picking up on that--you catching on to my tricks, gotta change up on yall

Johnny the 6 car is my step dad Lloyd Ragon. He is 84 years young and living in Charlotte,NC & he was excited to se this picture. We have 17 Pictures of him racing in 47,48, & 49, but did not have this one. Do you have any others? Lloyd says this is Oakland Speedway and it was a 5/8 High Bank.Thanks Donnie
