2045 years ago, a man was born in Bethleham in what one would call a manger in those times. This man was spoke about years earlier in Isaiah 7;14 and many other places in the old testament. The prophecy was spoken many times. This is best spelled out in Isaiah 53.
This man was born of a virgin, supernatually inpregnated. This man lived a sinless life! This man was falsely accused and falsely sentenced to die. He was beaten brutally and severly tortured in this process!
He was hung upon that tree and pierced for our transgressions, bruised for our inequities! Murdered for our sins!
He could have opted out and cried out for Abba father to save him! But NO! He knew that he had to die in the natural to return to us a helper, in the form of Holy Spirit, which lives and resides in everyone of us today, who believe in HIM!
So this weekend, when you are having the cookouts and ham and potato salad! Maybe some of you are beach or mountainbound. STOP and take a few minutes to reflect on what these days are about. Good Friday and Resurrection Day, or as the world calls it Easter!

Thank you Pastor Ken, Bless you. Many blame The Jews or Romans and some even blame Christians for His death but the truth is, it was MY sin. Yes all have sinned but only He could pay the penalty for my sin because I can not. This is true for us all, but the good news is forgiveness is available to all through Him. Easter is like the Passover, we celebrate it once a year but we need to remember it every day.
