Hey Kenny give me NASCAR LMS before the Busch seires anytime!!!!!!!

I noticed the displacement on the hood, 311 c.i.d this would ahve to be 83-84 because Busch series ran V-6 for 1-2 years

The Late Model Sportsman days were the best. Chevelles, Novas, Venturas, Omegas, Grand Ams and even the Ford Fairmont were great LMS cars.

Paul and Kenny I defintely agree with you. I was only 4-10 years when I watch the LMS, the best racing I ever watched in my life. Busch racing was good until they started taking tracks like Orange County, Old Dominion, Manasas, Pulaski, and then South Boston off the schedule. I defintely remember Dickie Boswell hard to miss that shiny number 07.

I watched Dickie run many weekends at Langley Speedway in Hampton, Va. He ran well against the likes of "terrible" Tommy Ellis, Billy Smith, Morgan Shepard, Bill Dennis and many more. IMO LMS was the best racing around. It went to pot when big money sponsors showed up and all the cars looked like they came out of the same machine.
