Darrell Bryant, future Cup Crew Chief, helped Ronnie Hopkins build Butch's Chevelle. Darrell was racing at the time, failed to exchange the steering box in his car for a quick steer version, and almost got tangeled in a wreck right where the #3 car is exiting second turn. Butch's trailer is the pale orange one with the 2x14 ramps in the left tract. Ges, those things were heavy.
