I am trying to find anyone that may have raced dirt tracks in the Carolinas probably somewhere around late 1930s - 1950s. My grandfather was a racer he went by the name "Buster" Scott. We use to have a picture of him but since both hea nd my grandmother have passed away I could not find the picture. He drove one time for Buck Jones. If you drove with him or ever heard of him please leave a message on my board I would appreciate it!! Thanks!!

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THE AREA THAT YOUR GRANDFATHER RAN. DO YOU REMEMBER OR DID YOU KNOW HIS CAR NUMBER? WHAT TOWN OR AREA DID HE LIVE? DO YOU KNOW ANY OF THE TRACKS THAT HE RAN ON? I HAVE THOUSANDS OF PICTURES OF WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA AND UPPER SOUTH CAROLINA TRACKS. I MIGHT JUST LUCK OUT AND FIND SOMETHING ABOUT HIM. I KNOW I HAVE A PICTURE OR TWO OF CARS WITH BUSTER ON THE DOOR OF THE CAR, BUT THESE PICTURES ARE FROM THE LATE 50'S OR EARLY 60'S. LET ME KNOW ANY INFO YOU HAVE ON HIM AND I'LL TRY TO HELP.....CAN'T PROMISE THAT I WILL FIND ANYTHING, BUT I'LL TRY. THANKS, RANDY

I Googled this "Jones had an affection for racecars and the racing industry, and became close friends with early racecar driver Harry Stillman. Due to his association with Stillman, he began working for the Marmon Motor Company, where he test drove many of their vehicles. "

@Randy Gilbert He raced in the upper south carolinadirt trackscar number was the 00 and yes it would have said "Buster" Those pics maybe one of him I am not completely sure of the date the pic was taken. He made a lifestyle change after finding God and left the sport and some other habits in the past. If you still have them I would love to take a look at the pics to see if it is him.
