I am pretty sure 'Rusty' doesn't ring any bells but he was a pretty good 'Sportsman' division driver at the Chemung Speedrome in Chemung, NY. This track was owned by Earl Bodine and if that name is familiar it should be. Geoff, Brett and Todd all raced there and Geoff in the famous #99.

One of my favorites below in the #88 of Herbie Green in his Ford winning a race. He and Tom Gush were pretty good. Bodine was dominant and then moved on to modifieds.

This is a couple of years old now but racing fans loved him, he was a clean driver and as I recall drove the #19.

It is a sad parting but he will be remembered by racing fans and friends for a very long time.
