Originally from Detroit Don lived in Atlanta Ga.During the mid to late 1960's he drove in severalGrand National races.There were many adventures in the automotive field that he was involved in including testing one of the first Shelby Cobras with Carol Shelby.In the late 70's when Warner Brothers decided to produce the Tv series The Dukes of Hazzard Don was hired to build all of theGeneral Lee's and police cars used in the Georgia produed shows.Those cars were built in Pete Hamilton's race shop in Atlanta.Don passed away on April 1'st,2009 at the age of 74.LAVERNE ZACHARY
