Lee-I don't believe this is from 1978.I think it is 1980.It was built by a guy from Western NY,Don Busbacher(SP).

According to my records, and the info. on the back of my picture it says 1978.

No Lee...I would know this car without the paint.thats how bad it was.just to be sure I'm going to see what Lou jr says.

Well back at it Lee...I'm not sure if you were a Lazzaro fan or not.It doesn't matter but your pictures sure do provide a lot of great memories,& not just of the Monk.But,I did contact Lou's Son,Lou & he said the "Bushy car" was an experimental car that Louie had built by the guy I had already mentioned.Lou said it was low to the ground,with the frame running under the rear end.The car was good on tacky tracks but he got beat on a hard track,maybe explaining the early season success @ Weedsport & Fonda.This is the car he won his 100th in @ Fonda on 8/9/1980,after an entire Summer of 3 top 5's.Thanks again Lee......Walt
