Timothy Peters Roars To Victory In Kroger 200 At MartinsvilleOctober 24,2009Martinsville,Va.By Mike Ray and Ms.HotrodTimothy Peters,Providence,NC. roared to his 1st career truck series victory in the Kroger 200 yesterdayat Martinsville Speedway in Martinsville,Va..Peters turned back all challengers as he led the last80 plus laps of the event.The young speedster started the event from the 11th position and made his only pitstop early in the racein his Strutmasters.com/Red Horse Racing Toyota.The Nascar Camping World Truck Series alwaysproduces alot of side by side,beating and banging,good short track action and Peters used his vastexperience at Martinsville to move thur the field and grab the lead on lap 116.Chad Kendrick and the Strutmasters crew had the truck handling great and the former Bailey's 300winner wasn't gonna be denied his 1st trip to victory lane when the checkered flag flew.Brett Bodine crossed under the stripe in 2nd place followed by Colin Braun in 3rd place with RonHornaday Jr.and Kevin Harvick rounding out the top 5 positions.Timothy celebrated in victory lane with his family and friends;his truck owner,Tom Delong and thankedeveryone at Strutmasters,Red Horse Racing and his fans for his victory at his hometown track.I'msure his wife has got just the right spot picked out to display the beautiful grandfather clock that goesto the winner!The Nascar Camping World Truck Series now heads to Talladega Superspeedway next weekend.By the Grace Of God and 600 horsepower,hope to see you at the races!
