I would like to thank everyone for their prayers, kind words and compassion during the passing of my Father. There are not too many left in the family who loved racing as much as my Pop and me. So, RacersReunion has been a God sent...and I found it right on time.Pop would have loved the stories I would have been able to share with him from this site. There was never a time I went to his home, that he didn't have some kind of racing on the TV. Pop was also a great musician, so his God given talent in that area will be missed greatly as well. Thanks to you......My new found family...Patsy

Thank you so much for staying in touch. It helps with the grief and also to keep Pop's memory alive. I feel as though, Pop helped me find another "home" to help keep the racing fuel in my veins....so to speak. Not only that, but so many names I hear are ones that I heard growing up and brings back memories. I definitely will be listening tonight, and hope to meet and greet in the Chat Room. A friend of mine is going to help me gather some stats on Pop's career which I am excited about sharing those as well. Thank you for your kindness and your good heart...I hope you know it is so appreciated, and precious to me....Patsy

Thanks for sharing your story with us. Though I never watched your Dad race I have heard so many past drivers and fans speak highly of him. A couple of years ago I had the honor of meeting him at the Legends night at Fayetteville and had a good conversation with him. He will always be a winner in hearts and minds of so many that respected him as a driver and as a good man. Number Ninety Six, forever a legend.

I'm so sorry. I know the burden of grief.
