Paul, I remember that night. It seems like Rex White was late getting there and was the last car to qualify. I think he broke the track recordthat night. I don't think anybody knew he was coming until that gold chevy came through the gate. Just one more memorable night at the river!

Hey gerald those hobby races were pretty good also. there was a bunch of guys that could win those races. You remember when they started those rookie races. those things were wild.There was a guy, his first name was harry i think they called him was it wild thing. i cannot remember his last name.
