That is Butch. Mike Laughlin was his crew chief, and we had the car in the lower pits in turns 1 & 2. next to Sam Ard's "Thomas Brother's Country Ham" car. Butch, Jack, and Harry Gant towed on the (yet to be finished ) I-40 to get there from Ashville. Harry's trailer burned out a wheel bearing on the way.
