Hi, does anyone know where Rod Osterlund's race shop use to be? Does anyone have any pictures of it back in the 70's and early 80's or pictures of what it is today?

Ralph, you will probably get more on this by posting it on the forum.

It was on Old Statesville Rd, just north of Charlotte.

Thanks Dave, you wouldn't happen to know what there now?

I haven't been around there since maybe 1982. If my memory serves me, it was around the intersection of Sunset Rd. & Old Statesville Rd. The first time I was there in late 1980, I remember part of the shop was being rented out and there were a couple of cars there that were supposed to be driven by David Pearson, but the owner had died (in a hydroplane crash, I think) and that part of the shop was locked up.

Thank you so much for the info. Is that where the Carolinas Auto supply is now?

This is the correct address for the old Osterlund Racing shop. From a brochure posted by RR member, Dennis Garrett:
