Did JB Coffey buy this car from you?If it was that one?He sold it to a friend to me named Billy. It had a 304 cid destroked 340 in it then.I am guessing that was one of the DC 'trans am' cranks to begin with?Last time I saw you run Waynesboro, you had the '62 Corvette and I don't think they had cut the track in half at that time?I know they hadn't permantly gone 660' at least, they did experiment with that before sending me home full time with their 660' thing. Thanks for sharing pics and comments, what's up with the gorgeous '67 GTX?You can stage that and post a pic of it too?

That Duster was very briefly in possesion of a Billy A. and saw some street action.Though very small it feared none.Everytime I see a mutual friend and former co-worker of mine.He always talks of the Duster that Billy had and how Billy cleaned his older bro in his 'fast' street racer that was feared around W'boro at the time.I recall JB having the original Camaro and a '69 at the same time?I'm thinking like about '72-ish.The plan was to change to the newer car,but for some reason he never really liked that car?Was that "Mtn, Rat" you speak of?I vaguely recall something like that going on and then JB went back to the car he preferred before then changing over to a Vega and a little later JB played with a T bucket for himself, that may have been as late as 1981?I sure wish that we had digital cameras back then-but then maybe not!?

I bet there is a connection with BA and JH,if I ever see any of those folks I'll have to ask.I just don't circulate much.Joe had some cars for sure, the name is car legendary here.Best story of Joe is that he agreed to buy a pretty hot drag car from a local racer.Agreement was that Joe was to try it out and if it ran the time it was a deal.First time down the track, old Joe went .15 quicker than the car had ever gone.If I could tell the person-if you know them or just of them and you likely do,You too will find that most amusing.H
