The chassis of this car is actually the car that Mario Andretti won the Daytona 500 with in 1967, when it was bodied as a Ford Fairlane #11.

i saw the car run at daytona in 1967 and i saw it run at talladega with darrell waltrip in first race.i love the car when it was 1967 ford fairland 11

Just as an add on, DW still owns this car. It is restored and kept in his shop/museum in Tennessee.
