I think this picture was from one of 3 places , Islip NY Oxfore Me. BeltsvilleMd. which he one at all 3 the same year

I'm guessing this is Beltsville, MD on August 24, 1966, which Bobby won. I saw the car make its debut on June 15, 1966 at Beltsville. It hadn't been painted and had adhesive tape numbers.

Good guess Dave. This is Beltsville, my home track where I went opening nite in 1965 and saw Sonny Hutchins win the first race at the age of 12. The main grandstand in the middle and steel guardrailgives it away. Bobby ran here in the#45 Mason Modifiedcar often since it opened on Wednesday nites and switched to Friday's a year or two later. He had a lot of experience here and I Think it gave him an advantage.Thanks, Mike
