This photo was the 1968 'Firecracker 400', Brickhouse's second GN start and he finished 17th. The previous month, he finished 4th at Rockingham's 'Carolina 500', in his first GN effort. The car, a year old ex-Petty Plymouth, was purchased by Brickhouse and partner Dub Clewis. At the time, Clewis was a partner in the (dirt) Leland (NC) Raceway.
