first photo i've seen of this fatal crash. wade, jimmy pardue, fireball roberts, and joe weatherly all died within a one year period.

Sad stories for sure. It's amazing how much things have changes over the last 20 years. Look back at the inside of the cars back in the 60's and 70's and compare them to todays cars. The seats now are huge and nearly hide the drivers from view. Remember back in the day when the driver was so open that you didn't even see a seat from an in car camera. Just the driver and the steering wheel.
