Thanks Ray. This was my first D500 to attend. Watched it as a 15 year old from the top of an infield motorhome. My eyes got an eduction in ways beyond racing.

Hello Ray. My dad was at this race. He said it was unbelievably cold that day. As you can tell with all the big coats on. He was also at the '81 Daytona 500 and was in the infield and got locked in at the winners circle with King Richard and everybody else. He said it was cool at first but when they wouldnt let anybody out after two hours being there he said he wished he had never done that.

Robert, I believe it's the Draime car driven by John Anderson. Not real sure though.
