This was actually a promo shot by legendary NASCAR photographer Don Hunter. I actually have the original negatives taken on that afternoon.....cool stuff

This was a poster from Union 76 with the "Racestoppers" I still have one I was given by Henley Gray at Talladega, August 1972.

this was the big four of that year. bobby allison in the 12, richard petty in the 43, david pearson in the 21, and buddy baker in the 71. these four cars won nearly all the races that year.

a'j' foyt also won in the 21 and bobby isaac won in the 71. the only other cars to win that year were james hylton in his 48, buddy baker in the petty 11, and ray elder in the 96. the latter three won one race each.

When you think of legenday cars or teams in Nascar history this shot tops the list. Pearson was on fire in 72 and 73 driiving the 21 car !
