Cheraw Speedway TAKE BACK THE TRACK Kickoff Event Saturday, October 8, 2011.
ATTENTION EVERYBODY!!!!!

Mark your calendars for
Cheraw Speedway TAKE BACK THE TRACK Kickoff Event
Saturday, October 8, 2011. 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. or until everybody decides to go home.
Mark your calendars.
Stay tuned for details.

About a dozen of us got together at the track today, ate some chicken, marvelled at the AMAZING progress in cleaning and clearing already underway courtesy of the love and affection of Willie, Jimmy, Jeffrey, Danny, Junior, Lois, and crew.......and we chose October 8 as the next date for a "come one, come all" kind of day. Plans are being made for some hot dogs, maybe some barbecue, a handful of guys who will probably bring race cars....

Everyone is invited, everyone is invited to bring anything they want to bring - that means you can bring a race car, you can bring a rake, you can bring your shovel or your Bobcat - or you can just bring your own sweet self and stories you want to tell. You can bring brochures and pamphlets and business cards about whatever you do for a living; we will have a table for that stuff. We are honestly making this up as we go along, and we will let the details be known as we know them.

One thing for sure: DO BRING YOUR OWN CHAIR!!!!!

Second thing for sure: BRING YOUR SMILE!!!!

You can keep up with things at

https://www.facebook.com/groups/cherawspeedway/

And if you have ideas or stuff you want to include in the planning, feel free to message me here or through Facebook.

We hope the October date will be the precursor to turning Jeff Gilder and RacersReunion loose to help us put on a really big show a little later on.
