Being retired and loving it allows me to focus all my efforts on my SCCA Solo program. Currently I compete in the SCR-SCCA Tire Town autocross series in the Street Touring Pony (STP). Since joining the SCCA in 2011 Swamp Fox Autosport has won three regional titles. The G-Stock class with CCR-SCCA in 2012, G-Stock with SCR-SCCA in 2013, and Street Touring Extreme with SCR-SCCA in 2015. Reclassification by SCCA in 2016 placed us in STP. Street touring pony.
Other racing ventures include a stint racing karts from 1993 to 2006 scoring 8 wins and the 1993 Rookie of the Year title for the stock class at R&K Kartway ion Alcolu, SC.. I've done every job a racetrack but clean toilets ranging from official to track announcer. Due to my schedule I do this on a as need basis now. In 2009 I spearheaded the greatest group of volunteers one could ever hope to find in cleaning up the Columbia Speedway grounds. We met our goals with a very small budget and ahead of time, freeing up much needed time and labor to exceed even our own expectations on the project.
I reside with my wife and number one supporter Donna, and Scooter, our 15 year old Jack Russell Terrorist in Cayce SC just a stone's throw away from Historic Columbia Speedway.
Something I found on the web today. Some of you may already know this but some may not, but some important people in racing in the northeast have been arrested. anyway go to this and hear it for yourself.[/quote]
Gee, if they can get him on charges here in SC it wouldn't cost much to house him given the wholesale way inmates have been offing each other lately. One that got killed here last week was personal for me. He got justice served in the manner I hoped it would be.
Now you can buy a 200MPH production car in the Caddy CTS-V. Cadillac brought one to Road America when I was up there in June as part of their factory display. I asked the rep if the rumors of the top speed are true. They are. The race version sounds every bit of intimidating as the Boss and Hemi engines did. The air shifters just add to it.
