I didn't see any posts about the passing of Chris Economaki.
From the National Speed Sport News site:

The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the International Motor Racing Research Center in Economakis name: 610 South Decatur Street, Watkins Glen, N.Y. 14891
Chris at work doing what he loved. With Cale at Atlanta, 1983. Robert Turner photo. I feel lucky to have photos published in NSSN during Economiki's time at the paper.
Woops, I was out of town at the Old Drag Racers Reuinon in Panama City, FL this weekend and when I got back I couldn't find anything on Chris' passing, guess I didn't look hard enough.
Yes, I wish Chris a rest in peace as well, but knowing how he was during his 91 years here, I doubt if "rest" is in his vocabularly. What a wonderful thing it is that he choose racing for his life's work. All we race fans have benefited from that dedication.
