I was a kid living in Carlsbad when Dicky got me interested in Drag Racing. I thought he was crazy tearing apart a brand new 63 Impala he was still paying for. I never got that ride he promised me.That's likely the only one he didn't keep while he was alive. Everyone including Grady had the upmost respect for " Mr Chevrolet " !
