yes I do know why... well, maybe i can tell you hahaha.trickle was driving one of Hanley's car that year and in an ASA race at Cayuga, hanley was leading and trickle bumped him and spun him out near end of race and ended up winning the race. well, after the race sometime, hanley told him he wanted his car back and that was that. Jr. drove it with the trickle paint job and just put a black tape #72 on the car for part of the year. I have others pics of him in the car and winning as well and some of him in an altercation with don biederman and an almost fight at flamboro.

I fairly sure hanley had built the car for Trickle and was using the race as a shake down before Dick brought it back to Wisconsinwith him.

Mark, this pic is after Hanley took it back from Trickle. Trickle raced it at Cayuga, spun Hanley near end of race while leading and Hanley took the car back. Car never went back to wisconsin with dick. I have a few others pics of this car like this. some from crash and almost fight with biederman at flamboro.
