Tommy - WOW!! would I like to sit and talk to you about that day. Dori Sweikert, Bob's widow, and his daughter Johnnye (named after Bob's best friend Johnny Boyd) are very dear friends of mine. I met them after I wrote the song "Gentleman Champion". Dori is in her 80's and lives in Redding California. Her book, "Along for the Ride" is one of the best books about of a racing legend I have ever read. She was there and she remembers it all like it was yesterday. Appreciate the comment.
