Six time Nascar Modified Nationial Champion,...Jerry Cook.In the early '60's, I use to watch Jerry and his then girlfriend Sue, (His wife today) pull their self built #38modified thru the Fonda Speedway gate every nightfor veteran driver Ken Meahl to drive.Why?? Cause you had to be 18 to compete as a driver,...and Jerry wasn't there yet.
