Did Curtis Turner have something to do with putting Smokey's Chevy on the pole at Daytona? I know and heard how trick the Chevy was but I think Turner could flat drive a race car!

Yes, Kenneth - Curtis won the 1967 Daytona 500 pole in Smokey's Chevelle
