1962 Riverside - Dave MacDonald in Corvette Special
Dave MacDonald won at Riverside in this modified Corvette. He and Max Balchowsky (Ole Yaller fame) created this unique one of a kind Vette that was 1000 lbs lighter and 18in shorter than a stock Corvette. It was later the inspiration for Zora Arkus Duntov when he designed the Corvette Grand Sport.
