i gave it my best shot at watching the race today but if i wanted to watch a 10 lap race i would go to a theme park and look at go carts. i understand it is for safety reason but that is not what this is about. so many people say the brickyard is like the greatest track i guess so if you watch that type of racing. give me the rock.darlington, charlotte, daytona, martinsville i think you get the picture. this shows how nascar has let their guard down on the quality of their sport. if i was head of nascar i would refund every ticket price to all fans and any network for covering such a joke. if you did your job the way nascar has put on this race. you would be fired and would deserve it. they will blame the tire. the track , think if your child was getting married and the wedding turned out like this race. this shows the big shots have forgotten what this sport was about because of money and bandwagon fans. if nascar was on top of their game this would have never happen.just my opinion .ryan logan

I agree wih Robbie! I think NASCAR should refund everybodies money, what a sham, Thank god no driver was injured in this event, so much for tire technology! Remember the first run at Talladega in 1969? I f i was driving i would have refused to run on the safety point, As far as the tire deal with goodyear, you think NASCAR would have done something to run a normal race. In the best interest of the fans they could have gone to Hoosier or mcCreary, really i don't understand why goodyear could not get it straight. Like I have said NASCAR "S***S" on the fans going on 25 years and over.

Robie, great point made! Wasn't it NASCAR that told the drivers to stop complaining about the car of tomorrow and other things and that they, the drivers have it could? Also wasn't part of that little lecture pointed towards the drivers owing the fans grfeat racing? Well, NASCAR needs to sit down and think about those words and to heed those words themselves. NASCAR sure wasn't thinking of the fans Sunday with those 10 lap sprint races they held at Indy. If the fans are going to be driven away from the sport, it's going to be because of boring races like this, not because the drivers criticized the new car or whatever. Of course, if the fans complain enough, NASCAR will probably tell us to quit complaining, that the drivers are risking their lives to entertain us. They'll probably tell us we have it good because we are watching the best racing action around!

I agree Ryan. Robbie Solesbee usually hits the nail on the head about NASCAR. It's more business than racing. They'll still stoop pretty low to get the fans money though, even if it means cashing in on a great drivers death years after the fact.
