I never knew Pulde drove for Al Hanna. Was Hanna hurt? Or did he have a couple of cars?

He didn't drive for Hanna, he drove for Hanna's former partner Joe Mundet. At the end of 1974 Hanna & Mundet had a new Mustang II built, to replace their Pinto, thatAldrove at the'74 NHRA Supernationals/World Finals at Ontario Motor Speedway. Sometime that fall Hanna and Mundet split, Joe kept the Mustang II and Al went back to racing the old Pinto. So at the begining of 1975 there were two Eastern Raiders, Joe's Mustang II and Al's Pinto. Joe hired Dale Pulde to drive the Mustang II and they won the '75 March Meet at Bakersfield. After the March Meet win the Mustang II was put up for sale and a new S&R Monza was built, that's the car pictured. Mundet and Pulde ran this car through early summer '75 when Mundet decided to get out of the sport and Pulde started driving the Arizona Wildcat.
