A tribute 1/25th model of John Nece's 1985 5-Star Bodied Firebird at Mt.Clemens,Mich. John was the son of Mich. Hall of Famer Ray Nece. Ray was helping John build this car when he passed away.John finished the car and came in 4th for the season, just 8 points away from the championship. That was Mt.clemens' last year.

Thanks Pete. This was my favorite of John's cars. He had some trouble dialin' it in at first, but after he found the sweet spots, the car drove itself per John. He told me that the car was a great confidence builder in himself pushin' the edge. He could go deeper into any turn on any track than anybody else. He called it his "Slot Car" !
