How are fans supportive towards drivers?

Before I get to the point here(which are a few long pts, but good ones) everyone needs to realize in reality here, people aint perfect. Nobody is, and that is what makes NASCAR so fun and interesting to watch. If the same person wins the races week after week, you'll get bored of it. As long as someone new wins every so often it's fine.

First of all, everyone has different personalities in NASCAR. Dale Jr. is the nice guy but races hard, Kyle is more agressive as is Smoke but he is now calmer. Johnson and Gordon are like the speedsters winning all the races. The point is, fans shouldn't be booing there drivers for the wrong reason. So what if Kyle is aggressive, and spun Jr. around to lose the race. You don't hate him because he spun around Jr. That is the stupidest thing i've ever heard! Other people have done the same and they don't get the same complaints. If Mark Martin would have spun around Jr. would you still be booing? You can hate a driver, but when it gets to far, then it's a problem. Kyle deserves more credit then he is given, really he does. He races every lap as if it is his last. He's always leading the race, and tries his hardest. He's a true racer. You don't boo Kurt either, just because he is Kyle's brother. What did Kurt ever do to you then? Jimmie Johnson is a good racer, he is what I call the best out of everyone. You can hate him, but as much as you do, he will still be the best. That my friends is one of the facts of Johnson. He's made the chase every year, won lots of races every year and won of only 2 to win 3 in a row. That makes him the class of the field.

Dale Jr, why does everyone treat him as if he is the best on the field? He gets the most cheers, wins all the awards and gets the most honors from his friends. Really, Dale Jr. isn't that good at NASCAR. He's around where Ryan Newman or Mark Martin are. He wins some, but he loses some. He get's around the 20's or 30's in most of the races. Or at tops early 15's. Alot of others get in the top 10 about every race. It's not that he's a bad driver, he's just not ranked in the top 3, that's all. You'd think with the Hendrick machines, he'd be doing better. BUT, has he made the Chase every year? Think about that, it proves if your the top racer or not. Is it just because he is the son of the great legend? If he had a non racing father, would he be this popular still? He's lucky because of regardless how is pit stops are, you all still vote for him for the Fastest Pit Crew of the Year Award. When there are, others quicker then him. You can't be voting for someone because you like them here! He'll win the most popular driver award anyway!

Last point is Jimmie Johnson. He's made the Chase every year, won the Cup 4 times, always in the top half of the field, which puts him in the no.1 spot worldwide. What seperates him from Gordon or anyone else is the fact he's not missed the chase yet, but most importantly, won it 4 years in a row. You can't compare to that. If you say it's because he's cheating, otherwise he wouldn't be that good, think twice. He's never been caught yet, he's such an honest guy and has the best CC you can get. Even if you still think he is, you can't say so, until you have proof, which you don't. Go back to Mayfiled, before he got caught, he wasn't that good. Before he got caught, he still wasn't that good. Who would think he'd do that?

You've got to be fair when voting for drivers and awards. It has to be the ones that deserve it that get the votes. Nobody is fair anymore in the world, your picking favorites. Even on American Idol, they pick favorites. If your playing cards, and one guy marks the back of the card and wins every hand, you'd think he's great. Until you know he's cheating. The cheater would be brilliant to do that, where the others are thinking there the stupid ones. Once he gets caught, he's the stupid one, and there still the stupid one for not realizing it sooner.

Reality is, where each driver treats each other fairly and respectly, on and off the track, mostly. You as the fans, should be doing the same, instead....we are going in the total opposite direction. Having favorites and rivals is great, you can have rivals for fun, if you think one's better than another. But if it's because of a crash or relative, then you've got to be out of your mind!

I'm not trying to pick favorites here, or saying what's what. I'm not trying to put down some drivers, or get someone mad at me. All I'm saying is plainly facts, and opinions. My thoughts on this, and what is obviously trues. Parodies of life that have happened before, the card thing. You can say I'm wrong about this, but I'll say i'm right. You can't change someone's opinion, I'll always think what I won't. You gotta think outside of the box here. So basically, those are my thoghts on this. I want to hear from you if you agree with me, disagree or just plainly your thoughts on this.

Thanks and have a Great Day!

When your in another part of the country and they are having a race at the local track, try to attend it. Most of the time you won't know any of the drivers there. That takes the pressure off having to root for any particular driver.Just watch the race for the sheer enjoyment of it. I find most of the time you'll watch a fantastic event.
