I just uploaded some more pictures from this same event (should be up soon). There is an image of a light blue #8 with Jay's name on the roof, so I think someone else drove this red #0. My feeble brain combined with old age won't let me remember some of this stuff....

This is Gerald compton I live near him he used to run franklin county to it was jimmy doughtens car. and where hank thomas name is it use to be sponsered by alred chevorlet too.

Definitely not Gerald Compton. Jimmie Doughton owned the car Gerald drove and it was number 8.
