Yrs ago, The season ended with Atlanta. Long straightaways and wide banked turns. Lots of 3 wide racing at nice fast speeds. Was always a treat to watch. Ever since they added banking in the turns at Homestead, is it just me or is Homestead like the old Atlanta. This yrs race was amazing. Especially how Stewart fell behind and kept pushing his way through the field. And to have a tie breaker of who wins the race wins the championship. Was a very exciting yr. Glad to see that the Petty cars are doing better and I hope David R. can find a new ride. Though Stewart owns only 50% of Stewart Hass, it was good to see an owner driver win again. Last drivers to do that were Richard and Alan K. Since they added the banking at Homestead, the season finale got much better and more exciting. I still dont like the locking top 12 in pts, but NASCAR seems to be getting better again. I just wish they would bring Wilkesboro back. That would be a great race to have for the last 10 chase races.
