Curtis told the tale of one night when on a back road late, he was pulled over by a cop. He was driving a pickup and he and the officer was standing at the tail gate talking when the cop took his flash light and started shining it around the bed. Well, Curtis had a few jars of moonshine in a corner covered by a pile of rags. When the cops light landed on the pile of rags, Curtis would take the cops hand and move the light to some axels, and explain what the axels were for. Then as the light went back to the rag pile, Curtis would guide his light back to some gears and explain what the gears were for. Finally, the cop had enough and let Curtis go. Curtis said his knees were still shaking when he pulled into his driveway.
