During thw '60s we traveled past this place pretty often.After closure the tower only stood briefly,the signage however stood for years.As far as I know there may still be some of the blacktop in that field?I haven't been by in many years now,the farmer had stacked hay bales on parts of the track.Don't know how it is now.One thing to add,this was a fifth of a mile track.That bit seems to be ommitted in too many bench racing sessions?Thanks for sharing.
