Hello, I am “Terri Marie Arp” the daughter/Only child of the late legendary drag racer Terry Arp! I look forward to honoring his legacy with all of you in the future! I wanted to correct the late Tom Kasch post of my dad’s Ford Fairlane! It was a 1966! The Spirit of ‘66 was painted on the trunk lid! I’m so very grateful for this picture because I was only two years old when it was taken! He’s had many race cars since then! Unfortunately the epic ‘66 Fairlane was in a tragic accident at Detroit Dragway in 1980! We had the car buried in the Northwood, OH Landfill down the road from my childhood home in Rossford, OH! He came back with the ‘69 Revenge Mach 1 Mustang 427 Big Block meticulously modified to a 455 CU by my brilliant daddy and won several races, awards, front covers, centerfold spreads in various magazines! Stay tuned for more details! For now I say see you soon as a grieve the loss of my hero and best friend! RACE IN HEAVEN DADDY!
Saw Tommy Granger race in the other car race against Lex Smith of Columbia in 61 Star liner. They beat each other many times.
