This is picture I took of the Dusty Rhodes top fuel car at Irwindale, 1966 AHRA Winter Nationals. Pat Foster drove the car for Rhodes a few times .Hutch

Being from Cleveland Ohio didn't yield me much opportunity to actually witness many of the classics. I've relied on film, print, and those old AHRA bubble gum cards to educate me on those times when drag racing reached it's zenith for fun before "big dollar" cleaned everything up.My utmost reverence for someone who was actually there.
