A great shot of the Bill Stroppe built Mercury Mermaid experimental car at Daytona in 1957. The car hit 159+ on the north bound run in the flying mile.

Wow, that is a very different look for that car than what I have seen before. I guess all the pictures I have seen were PR photos. Very nice.
