Myrtle Beach hosted a big NDRA race in '78 and Leon won. All the NDRA cars had "zoomie" hedders, a plexiglass spoiler, plastic "HRE" Camaro front valence, and no windshield............. hi-tech, at the time.

Leon was almost unbeatable at Senoia Speedway. I always thought Leon looked like a school teacher but he sure could drive. I've seen Mike Head chase him many a miles and Mike's a great driver. Great photo-thanks for posting.

I moved to Georgia in 1978 and began attending races at Senoia Speedway I never saw this car-I think this car predated 1978.
