Richard Howard is listed as the car owner for Donnie in those 2 races. And I certainly didn't know Moly Black Gold sponsored a car before sponsoring Jimmy Spencer in Travis Carter's Chevy in 1992. I'm guessing that may be the head of Moly Black Gold or a marketing VP with Donnie. But it looks a little bit like Bob Tezak, the guy from UNO. If its not Tezak, I hope the life of whoever it is turned out better than Tezak's. Bob Tezak was the coroner - the CORONER - of Will County IL, bought UNO on the cheap, sold it for a fortune, squandered the fortune, intentionally set fire to a bowling alley he owned, declared bankruptcy, and ended up in the pen in 1994.

Donnie raced this car at Charlotte on October 5, 1975. Though Racing-Reference and Greg Fielden's 40 Years book has Richard Howard noted as the car owner of record, the car was apparently fielded by L.G. DeWitt as somewhat of a 'team' car to Benny Parsons. - Spartanburg Herald Click to enlarge article in a new tab.
