The late Heyward Crowson snapped this picture of Ralph Earnhardt which appeared in the Sumter Daily Item in 1960. A grand sum of $75 was offered as a bonus to any driver who could unseat Earnhardt that week. Local hotshoe Billy Baker claimed the bonus.
