Don't know if L.D. Ottinger won that one or not, but he was a good one. Always raced hard but clean we had the pleasure of racing with him on many tracks in TN, AL, GA, and Carolinas.The last time I knew anything about him he was building hot rods and doing resto work at his shop in Kingsport TNMike Ashley

ok i just wondering because mike eddy won the first of those races then danny byrd witch i think became the all american four hundered after he died marty robbins

the one danny byrd won, jr hanley drove in relief for him and won the race. have a few pics from that race and one in pits after race with Hanley there.
