We were exposed to this new product here on RR through a marketing agreement with Nexus. They are located here in Myrtle Beach. The product is about to be manufactured in a state-of-the-art facility in Charleston, SC. I have been involved with the company in several capacities. The founders are friends of mine.
We are also in negotiations with distributing entities to get the product out to the chains and into the moms and pop stores as well. We needed the increased manufacturing capacity to take the next step. We've actually been going very slowly with the marketing efforts thus far. We knew/know we could overload our donkey very easily.
Over the past year, we've been field testing the product here in the US and in Brazil. Our diesel fuel catalyst is extremely popular with the truckers who are ALL claiming 20 to 25 % increases in fuel economy.
The high performance fuel catalyst is consistently producing 15 to 22 more hp and 15 to 17 more pound feet of torque. The passenger car catalyst is getting great results, too. Most folks are seeing between 15 and 25% increases in fuel economy.
