is Jimmy Johnson as good as Dale Earnhardt?

General

This one ought to bring em out...lol. I don't think it is possible...certainly not fair to try to compare drivers from different eras. But....given the playing field he is on....is he is as good compared to the rest of today's drivers as Dale was compared to the rest he competed with....probably so. Does that make sense,...? I don't think because he wins 4 straight that makes him better than Cale. Granted he will have a better record....but records are.... an have always been subjective.

What's up with Jr???

General

They were probably referring to the article that came out last week in the National Enquirer. I can't believe how much press that garbage rag gets. But the article said Jr was in a "death spiral"...or something like that.I almost hate to post it...but here is the article. NE Dale Jr article

East Coast Flat Heads Wrap up Season at Hickory

Vintage Oval and Road Course Racing

Posted by Ronda McknightIt was a wonderful day at Hickory Motor Speedway Sat. After a long week of rain, the racing Gods brought out the sun and it was a perfect day for the ISCARS and the Flatheads. Johnny Johnson won the Modified division with yours truly Ronda McKnight in tow in second place. That is the way the two ended up in the points. Winning the Sportsman division was Kenneth Tuttle and John Barrow ended up a strong second. I am not sure how the sportsman points ended up because many were so close together. I will let you know in a later post. We really enjoyed running Hickory and hope the fans enjoyed having us. We would love to race again there

Someone has posted pictures for Harris...possible Rutherford as well. I remember seeing them. Possibly Randy Gilbert. If you search the photo galleries, you might turn up some photos.
