Here is my 2 cents....I think we would have a problem on Monday because of football. I think Wdnesday might be an issue because of church. Tat leaves Tuesday and Friday. I think Friday would be a tough one, too. As you can see I'm leaning toward Tuesday...which means we would be going against Eli Gold....one of my heroes. sorry Eli...no offense.Big D is builing the site for the archives as we speak.

We are planning to move "Racin The Way It Was" from its current Thursday night slot to another night. This move will allow us to make both our live shows...STARS Radio and "Racin The Way It Was" 2 hours in length each. We feel that 4 hours back-to-back 7pm-11pm (est) is too long....and we have much more content we could add with longer shows. We have decide that Thursday's work best for STARS Radio...and will leave that show there to run from 7pm-9pm (est).We welcome your input.

Hmmmm...great comparison. The CMA has done an admirable job bringing along young talent that not only appeals to the younger fans...but also has popularity among the older country music fans.I remember....though...my father who was a huge nascar fan (early nascar) and a country music fan (Conway Twitty, Buck Owens, Roy Accuff, Chet atkins, Johnny Cash)...telling me Garth brooks would never make it...he also said the same thing about Dale Earnhardt Sr. He couldn't stand Brooks...and he despised the driving style of Earnhardt.Both entities have experienced huge growth. I think one difference is that NASCAR was not initially viewed (by many fans) as entertainment. Now it is very clear NASCAR is focussed almost entirely on the entertainment value of the sport.

This week STARS Radio and Racin The Way It Was will be 11/2 hours each. I need your help

We (RR) need to increase the use of our forum...which will help us bring more traffic to the web site...which will eventually help us create more advertising opportunities. We use our Blog / Bench racing section like a forum....and the forum gets very little use. An active forum would help us a great deal.Secondly, I would like to use the blog /bench racing section for racing stories...tales...which will enable me to drive more traffic to site by advertising the stories across the net.I love the interactivity and participation we get on bench racing section and don't want to do anything to hamper that...just need to balance out the useage of the site.I can move the forum to the top of the page...if that helps. I can modify the format...somewhat....if that helps.Give me your thoughts....can we make this work?Thanks very much for your support!Jeff
