315 To Go To Reach 10,000 Members

Administrative

As of this morning this (stock car) site is only 315 members away from reaching 10,000...a nice milestone for us.

Do you think we can reach 10000 by the end of the year? That is only about 5 per day. There is a nice "Invite" feature on the site. It is tabbed in the main navigation under the "My Page". Give it a shot. Let the countdown to 10,000 begin!

Robbie Sighting

Administrative

I posted this earlier on another thread that has moved off the page...thought I'dre-purposeit just for giggles.

The last time anyone has seen Robbie was leaving an event with a 1 quart mason jar with some sort of liquid in it...probably kool-aid.

I heard a rumor that he was spotted (viasatellite)on an abandoned airstrip inVenezuela last week carrying what appeared to be a 1 quart mason jar leading a small dog on a leash. The dog had what appeared to be the remains of someone's shoe (most likely mine)in it's mouth. Not far from Robbie and the dog was a maroon mustang that looked like it had been driven through the desert in the baja 1000 race. Through the dirt and debris on the car one could barely make out the words on "Goat Rider".

The sighting was reported by The Bopper (aka Reverend Jimmy Stagger) who said he was looking for ghost tracks in South America via google earth. But, knowing the reverend as I do...my guess is he was tracking the the mason jar. We all know there's only one thing the good reverend likes more than Ms. Sadie's fried chicken (well maybe two...the other also belongs to Ms Sadie) and that is mason jar medicine.

If anyone else has any Robbie sightings to report...please post them.

Dan"The Beast" Severn-On The Goat Rodeo

-RacersReunion® RADIO

Well folks...you just don't know what this means to me. Yea I get it...if you know who Dan is you know this ain't about racin. But, I am a HUGE fan of "old school" anythang. Dan Severn is one of the original cage fighters from the UFC. Dawning his Magnum PI mustache he kickedsomeserious ass while in the UFC...when there were no rules. Then on to the NWA. And ya know what they say...racin and raslin goes together like beer and popcorn.

On behalf of our sponsors Ararat Distributing, Dan is promoting an event this coming Monday...Octoberbeast...I think it is called. We'll be sampling some craft beers from Railhouse Brewery compliments of Ararat Distributing. By the time Dan gets on the show, we should be ready for him.

I'm startin the sampling early...all this excitement makes me thirsty.
